A video of the demolition of a Caesar artillery system in eastern Ukraine was been made public by the Russian Armed Forces.
A French-made artillery vehicle is shown being targeted from the air in a drone-shot footage. The long-range weapon could be a cruise missile or smart bomb. submit. The flames climbed high, and subsequent photographs revealed that the Caesar system had been totally destroyed, despite the fact that the tool used by Russia could not be readily identified.
12 Caesar howitzers total have been delivered by France to Kiev, and a further 6 howitzers are being shipped to Ukraine. The Caesar artillery system was originally employed by the Ukrainian armed forces in February, but it wasn’t until April—after the troops had gotten accustomed to it—that it was really put to use.
According to a Ukrainian officer, introducing French vehicles to the army proved challenging at first, but after adaptation, they were highly useful in battle. The soldiers claimed that Caesar’s greatest advantage was his quick firing rate—he could fire five shells in less than a minute—as well as the projectile’s accuracy and range, despite not being as advanced as the British M777.
