The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine posted a video from the tests of the Neptune coastal missile system
The Neptune is a coastal anti-ship cruise missile with a 300 km range that can obliterate navy ships.
After a six-year development period, the Missile system was integrated into the Ukrainian Defense Forces in March 2021.The cruise missile was created in urgency by the military since the Russian danger to Ukraine’s coastal territories has grown quickly since the takeover of Crimea in 2014.This missile is based on a Russian Kh-35 cruise missile known as the AS-20 Kayak by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
