Kinzhal missiles and Su-57 fighters have shown very good performance on the Ukrainian battlefield.
The Kinzhal missile proved itself very well during the special military operation in Ukraine. A review of this latest hypersonic weapon is given by General Sergei Surovikin – Field Commander.
“The latest Kh-47M2 Kinzhal supersonic air-to-ground missile has proven its ability to hit the target. No enemy air defense system can resist this weapon,” said General Surovikin.

General Surovikin also added that the air-launched hypersonic ballistic missile showed the highest accuracy, much better than the Iskander-M (Kinzhal’s prototype) deployed on the ground.

According to the Russian press, on March 18, 2022, the Kinzhal hypersonic missile system in its first combat action destroyed large underground storage of missiles and aviation ammunition of the Ukrainian armed forces in the village of Delyatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The arsenal built during the Soviet era is one of the bases for storing nuclear weapons with high stability, consists of two floors, and is located 150 meters underground. However, tons of concrete, steel, and earth failed to protect the base from Kinzhal missiles.
According to the announcement, the Kinzhal missile system has a range of up to 2,000 km and carries a warhead weighing 500 kg, the projectile can accelerate to Mach 10. The first Kinzhal complexes are currently performing test combat missions in the Army.
Currently, Russia is testing the integration of the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missile on strategic bombers such as the Tu-160, Tu-22M3, and Tu-95MS. In addition, a miniaturized version to equip the Su-57 fighter is also being developed.

General Sergei Surovikin – commander of the joint group of the Russian Army in the special military operations area continued to praise the activities of the Russian aerospace forces, especially the stealth fighter Su-57.
“For the quality of use in combat, I especially wanted to choose the fifth-generation multi-role aircraft Su-57. With a variety of weapons, in each sort of flight, it solves the same tasks simultaneously. attack targets in the air and on the ground,” General Surovikin said.
The commander of the Russian Army also noted that the Ukrainian battlefield has confirmed the effectiveness of the aviation weapons systems as well as the air defense complexes that are in service in the combat component.
“In addition to the Su-57 fighter, the unmanned aerial vehicle has carried out more than 8,000 sorties, and the attack drones have destroyed more than 600 objects of the Ukrainian armed forces,” said General Sergei Surovikin.
However, it should be noted that there is no concrete evidence of Russia dispatching the fifth-generation stealth fighter Su-57 Felon to participate in combat operations within the framework of a special military operation in Ukraine.

Although there are some photos of the Su-57 taking off, experts believe that this fighter only flies at the edge of the war zone for propaganda purposes.
The reason is that currently the Russian Air Force has only received 5 Su-57 stealth fighters, and all of them are in a state of testing, not yet reaching the state of full combat readiness.
