The Russian military claimed to have downed a MiG-29 fighter belonging to Ukraine, assaulted and damaged significant enemy targets, and cost Kiev hundreds of men.

According to Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, on October 24 a Russian warplane downed a Ukrainian MiG-29 jet near Nikolayev’s Kaluga region.
Russia declared that it has stopped a Ukrainian army attack in the Kupyansk region of Kharkov, forcing the Kiev side back to its previous position. According to Russia, 30 soldiers, 1 tank, and 3 armoured vehicles were lost by Ukraine.
According to the Russian military, 120 Ukrainian soldiers, 3 tanks, 2 infantry combat vehicles, and armoured personnel carriers were all destroyed in Lyman, Donbass.
13 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), seven HIMARS and Smerch missiles, and three HARM anti-radar missiles from Ukraine were allegedly shot down by Russia.
In Ugledar, Donetsk, and Zelyony Gai, Nikolayev, according to Konashenkov, Russia destroyed two Ukrainian ammo and weapon stockpiles.
In the Novoye and Dvurechnaya regions of Kharkov, Konstantinovka in Donetsk, and Olenovka in Nikolayev, four Ukrainian military headquarters were struck by Russian planes, missiles, and artillery.
Along the way, Russia also destroyed 182 locations with military facilities, 68 artillery pieces, the Ukrainian helipad near Aleksandrovka in Donetsk, and human resources.
On October 25, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that Russia had launched 15 missile assaults against Ukraine the day before. Attacks are being made by Russia on the Donbass fronts of Bakhmut and Avdiivka. Additionally, Ukraine claims that Russia is putting mines along the left bank of the Dnipro River to fortify the line near Kherson.
The Kiev side asserted that they had halted the Russian advance at Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Ivanhrad, Klishchiivka, Sirne, Soledar, Mariinka, and Nevelske in Donetsk as well as Bilohorivka in Lugansk.
