In the Donbass region, Russia claims to have gained control of a strategic area.

After several days of intense fighting, the Russian military declared that it had taken control of a key location on the Donetsk battlefield in the east.

On November 14, the Russian Defense Ministry declared that it had taken control of a significant eastern town from Ukraine. Russia said that seizing Pavlivka may serve as a launchpad for the country to carry out its ongoing military campaign in Ukraine.

A village with 2,000 residents, Pavlivka is about 60 kilometres southeast of Donetsk. This is where the recent fierce fighting between Russia and Ukraine occurred.

The statement read, “The acquisition of Pavlivka creates a springboard for the upcoming Russian military onslaught in the Donbass. Russia declared that it will annex the town of Vugledar, which is located north of Pavlivka, from this village.

On November 13, Russia said that it had annexed the Ukrainian-controlled Mayorsk region of the Donetsk region.

According to reports, Russia and pro-Russian separatists are stepping up their attacks in Donetsk after leaving Kherson as a result of a fierce Kiev counteroffensive. On November 13, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged the fierceness and tension of the Donetsk front in the east.

“Russia doesn’t lessen the force of its assault. After comparing the conflict in Donetsk to a “hell war” and calling the combat there “very catastrophic,” President Zelensky declared, “We will not allow them to break past the defences. It happens there every day.”

The Donetsk region, according to President Zelensky last week, is still at the centre of the confrontation between Russia and Ukraine, with “hundreds of Moscow forces” being pulled out of battle every day.

Zelensky asserted, however, that Ukrainian forces would not yield even a single inch of ground in the conflict for control of the eastern Donetsk region.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported on November 14 that three Ukrainian HIMARS rockets and six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) had been intercepted in Lugansk, Donetsk.

In Kuzemovka, Lugansk, Russia claimed to have halted the Ukrainian offensive and killed more than 120 Kiev soldiers.

According to a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov, “In the direction of Kupyansk, two Ukrainian company-level combat groups attempted to attack Russian units in the settlement area of Kuzemovka, Lugansk, but were repulsed by firepower.”

Assaulting Lugansk in the direction of Krasny Liman cost Ukraine 90 soldiers, according to Mr. Konashenkov, because it was unable to breach the Russian defenses.

Russian officials claim that 80 Ukrainian soldiers have been taken out of the line of fire in the last 24 hours to the south of Donetsk.

Yesterday, three Ukrainian military command centres were destroyed by Russian jets and artillery in the Kharkov, Kherson, and Lugansk districts.

Russia claims that since the start of the conflict, Ukraine’s 6 593 tanks, 176 helicopters, 2,504 drones, 388 surface-to-air missile systems, and 509 military aircraft have all been destroyed. 8,91 rocket launchers, 3,577 field guns and mortars, and 7,216 specialised military vehicles are among the various armoured combat vehicles.
