The newest nuclear-powered missile-carrying ships built by Russia are now unmatched in the world, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On December 29, President Putin made the following statement regarding the role the Rubin Design Bureau and the Sevmash shipyard played in the development of Russia’s nuclear submarines: “New nuclear-powered missile-carrying ships are being designed and built that are second to none in the world in terms of features.” According to Putin, the ships are outfitted with cutting-edge navigation, communications, and sonar capabilities in addition to high-precision weapons and automated systems.
Putin also expressed his congratulations to the Russian navy’s officers on the induction of the Generalissimus Suvorov nuclear submarine, the Grad small missile ship, the Anatoly Shlemov minesweeper, and the Emperor Alexander III nuclear submarine.
The head of state of Russia also expressed gratitude to the designers, engineers, and employees of the Sevmash, Zelenodolsk, and Sredne-Nevsky shipyards for their dedication and timely and high-quality completion of the mission.
Putin declared that Russia would speed up and scale up the manufacturing of various types of ships.
According to Putin, “We will speed up and scale up shipbuilding of various designs, equip them with the most cutting-edge armaments, and educate sailors and soldiers to gain greater experience, even in battle.”
The head of the Kremlin emphasised that the government will “do all required to reliably safeguard Russia’s security” and defend Russia’s national interests in the oceans.
Earlier this month, at a speech marking Rosatom’s 15th anniversary of founding, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that his country was “producing and operating generations of weaponry and military equipment, including several weapons systems unrivalled in the world.”
The rate of manufacturing of weapons and special equipment is expanding many times across all sorts, from tanks, artillery, to main rockets, drones, and drones, according to Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council. Additionally, the former president Medvedev issued a warning to Russia’s adversaries, telling them to give up on the notion that Moscow would run out of weapons.
President Putin claimed that many new Russian weapon models are decades, if not years, ahead of their Western equivalents at the August military expo “Army-2022” in Moscow. Putin claimed that Russia’s weapons “are considerably superior” in terms of their technical and tactical capabilities.
While this is going on, Western defence officials and military analysts think that Russia’s arsenal is soon to run out owing to its heavy usage. After Moscow evacuated its soldiers from several locations, Ukraine’s armed forces have consistently asserted that they destroyed a number of Russian weaponry and seized Russian military hardware.
