Russia has developed the world’s first nuclear-capable Poseidon super torpedo for use on the Belgorod submarine.

According to an unknown defence source reported in Military Cognizance on January 16, “the first batch of Poseidon torpedoes has been created, and the Belgorod submarine will receive them in the near future.”
President Vladimir Putin first revealed details regarding the Poseidon nuclear super torpedo in 2018. He confirmed that this is a new sort of strategic nuclear weapon with its own nuclear power source.
He stated in his 2018 speech that this super torpedo has an infinite range. It can operate at enormous depths at speeds several orders of magnitude faster than any other submarine or torpedo.
“They are extremely quiet, highly agile, and nearly indestructible. Today, there are no weapons against them in the world,” Putin stated.
The Belgorod submarine, part of Project 09852, is a special-purpose submarine that carries nuclear weapons. The Poseidon unmanned underwater attack system is the submarine’s primary weapon (Poseidon unmanned nuclear torpedo).
According to sources familiar with the situation, the Belgorod is capable of carrying six Poseidon torpedoes, as well as other torpedo armaments and anti-submarine missiles.
