On the morning of January 20, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the results of the operation of the Ukrainian army within the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the Ukrainian infantry, air force, and artillery have carried out a number of joint military attacks against several concentrations of Russian troops, weapons depots, and military equipment.
The above attacks eliminated three tanks, six armored personnel carriers, seven artillery batteries, four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), seven military vehicles, and 770 Russian soldiers.
In addition, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claimed to have destroyed at least three command posts and an ammunition depot of pro-Russian forces in the Donbass region in eastern Ukraine.
Warplanes of the Ukrainian Air Force also actively participated in counter-attack operations when flying out and hitting Russian military targets seven times in the past 24 hours. The Ukrainian air defense also claimed to have shot down three new Moscow Lancet-3 suicide drones.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian defense officials accused Russia of conducting raids in at least 16 settlements in the separatist regions of Donetsk, Lugansk, and Zaporizhia. However, the Ukrainian defense forces still managed to hold the position and repel all these raid attempts.
