Poland denies that it is in talks with the Ukrainian military to deliver F-16 fighter jets.
The deputy minister of defence for Poland said that there were no conversations on this subject inside the cabinet. It is also stated that the transfer of F16 to Ukraine will undermine that nation’s defence capabilities while also escalating the conflict. Poland made the announcement in response to news that Andriy Yermak, the chief of staff to the president of Ukraine, had stated that Warsaw (Scarva) was prepared to deploy F16s to Kiev with help from NATO. Following the announcement by Germany and the United States that they would be supplying tanks to the country’s military, Ukraine is now pleading on NATO members to donate fighter jets.
