A pro-Russian official in Lugansk revealed that the Ukrainian army is sending commando units to relieve the Bakhmut area.
In an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda radio channel on March 27, Andrey Marochko, a pro-Russian official in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), said fierce fighting was taking place in the city.
