Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine

The latest report from the Russian Defense Ministry says that Russia has carried out a large-scale attack with air and sea precision weapons against military industrial facilities, fuel infrastructure, and storage facilities. Ukrainian ammunition near Odesa and also the Kanatovo airbase in Kirovograd. All specified targets have been disabled. The objective of the attack has been achieved.

In the direction of Kupyansk, the group of Zapad forces continued to attack effectively in the assigned area of ​​responsibility. During the day, Russian troops advanced more than a kilometer deep and along the front up to 2km. The advancing units captured the Molchanovo station, Kharkiv region.

In addition, Russian aircraft and artillery attacked Ukrainian forces near Sinkovka, Kislovka, and Berestovoye, in Kharkiv and Novosyolovskoye in Lugansk.

Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 70 servicemen, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, and Krab and Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers as well as 1 US-made AN/TPQ-50 anti-aircraft radar.

The army continued to carry out offensive actions in the directions of Donetsk, Krasny Liman, and South Donetsk.

In the direction of Donetsk, Russian forces, backed by air force, artillery, and heavy flamethrowers, repelled 25 Ukrainian attacks near Belogorovka, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye, Maryinka, Severnoye, and northwest of Kleshcheevka in Donetsk.

During the day, up to 340 Ukrainian servicemen were eliminated from the battle, 2 tanks, 3 armored fighting vehicles, 4 pickup trucks, a German-made Pzh-2000 self-propelled howitzer, 2 Krab self-propelled gun made by Ba Lan production, 1 self-propelled gun Gvozdika and 2 cannon D-30 were also destroyed.

In the direction of Krasny Liman, Russian forces repelled four waves of Ukrainian attacks near Karmazinovka, Shipilovka, Kremennaya, and Belogorovka in Lugansk.

Ukrainian units were attacked near Novosadovoye, Yampolovka, and Serebryanka in Donetsk.

Russia has removed from the battle 100 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, 2 self-propelled guns Gvozdika, and 2 cannons D-30.

To the south of Donetsk, the Vostok force group, broke up a Ukrainian attack near Rabotino, in Zaporizhia.

The points of concentration of Ukrainian troops and equipment were attacked near Priyutnoye, Zaporizhia, Makarovka, and Rovnopol regions of Donetsk.

In the direction of Zaporizhia, clusters of Ukrainian manpower and equipment were attacked near Novopokrovka and Malaya Tokmachka.

Seven ammunition depots of the 23rd and 33rd motorized brigades, 128th mountain assault brigade and 44th Ukrainian artillery brigade were destroyed near Berezovoye, Dnepropetrovsk region, Malaya Tokmachka, Rabotino, Preobrazhenka, Uspenovka and Novoyakovlevka in Zaporizhia.

Ukraine’s losses amounted to 170 servicemen, 2 tanks, 9 armored fighting vehicles, 4 motor vehicles, an Msta-B howitzer, 3 D-20 guns, a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer and a counter artillery radar. AN/TPQ-50.

In the Kherson direction, Russian fire neutralized up to 50 Ukrainian soldiers, destroyed an armored fighting vehicle, 3 pickup trucks and a D-30 cannon.

Russia neutralized 92 Ukrainian artillery units at the battlefields, along with a lot of manpower and military equipment in 106 areas.

The Russian Air Force shot down 1 Su-25, the air defense shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter and successfully intercepted 5 rounds of the HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system.

In total, since February 24, 2022, Russia has destroyed Ukraine’s 456 aircraft, 243 helicopters, 5,108 UAVs, 426 anti-aircraft missile systems, 10,761 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,139 multiple rocket launchers, 5,522 artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 11,752 special military vehicles.

British intelligence: Ukraine attacked cautiously but with results 

According to Pravda , Richard Moore, Director of the British Foreign Intelligence Service (MI6), speaking at the British Embassy in Prague on July 19, said: “Ukrainian commanders want to protect the lives of soldiers. soldiers and therefore attack cautiously”.

Within a month, he asserted, Kiev had regained more territory than the Russians could control in a year, despite the difficult counter-attack due to Russia’s overly solid defenses.

However, he did not disclose the specific figure of how much Ukraine has controlled.

Ukraine threatens to neutralize Wagner troops if invaded from Belarus

Ukraine’s Ukrinform news agency quoted Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, commander of the Ukrainian coalition, as saying: “We learned that a group of Wagner mercenaries recently arrived in Belarus. We are reacting and making the enemy completely cannot cross the national border of Ukraine”.

Ukraine accuses Russia of destroying 60,000 tons of grain

According to  AFP,  Ukraine said that Russia’s attack on the strategic port city of Odesa destroyed 60,000 tons of grain, but Moscow said it only targeted military facilities.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine issued a statement on July 19: “60,000 tons of grain were destroyed in the port of Chornomorsk, on the outskirts of Odesa. That is the amount of grain that was sent through the grain corridor 60 days ago.”

” World food security is once again in jeopardy,” the ministry stressed.

War developments in Ukraine on each front

In the Svatovo-Kremenskaya area, the Russian offensive also continued. The front was gradually moving westward, despite Ukrainian counter-attacks in Kremensky and the Serebryansky forest area.

In addition, according to some reports, Belogorovka is being attacked by Ukraine, but currently, there is no specific information.

The situation in the Soledar direction  remains tense. To the north of Bakhmut, fighting continues in the vicinity of the Berkhovka reservoir, although the intensity has decreased. Ukraine is trying to advance in the Dubovo-Vasilevka region, operating in small groups with the support of light armored vehicles and artillery. Russian artillery fired in rapid succession to stop the attacks.

To the south of Bakhmut, fierce fighting is taking place in the Kleshcheevka area, where Ukraine has been sending more and more reinforcements, trying to hold onto adjacent bridgeheads and fortified areas on high points.

In addition, Ukrainian mobile groups tried to break into Andreevka, south of Kleshcheevka but were stopped.

Fierce fighting is taking place in the fortified area northwest of Kleshcheevka. The Russian 4th Mechanized Shock Brigade reported that the Ukrainian formations suffered heavy losses, and appeared to have at least partially retreated, leaving behind many dead bodies and damaged equipment.

In the direction of Donetsk, position clashes continued in the Avdiivka region. Ukraine tries to regain control of the lost points, but Russian units quickly stop any attacks. In the Marinka area, Russian forces continued to fight both in the city and in the northwest towards Krasnogorovka.

In the area of ​​the Vremievsk ridge, fighting continued in the area of ​​the Grusheva and Staromayorskoe trenches. Russian artillery is actively shelling Ukrainian units.

At the same time, Ukraine is concentrating its forces on an upcoming large-scale offensive, aimed at trying to break through Russia’s defenses in this area.

In the Orekhov region, Ukraine did not give up its attempt to attack Russian positions in Rabotino. The Russian army continued to hold the settlement and destroyed armored vehicles provided by the West.

At Kherson, gun battles continued and efforts to move troops to the opposite shore of Ukraine did not stop, despite the precise attacks of Russian artillery in the Kherson and Berislav areas.
