Russia Gains Ground in Pokrovsk: Strategic Advances on Multiple Fronts

Moscow’s forces are exploiting the split front to intensify pressure on Ukrainian defenses, according to the Military Summary channel. In the New York direction, the RFAF captured the last Ukrainian positions between Toretsk and Nelipivka, establishing a direct link from New York to the Sabalka district.

This opens up additional attack options to target Toretsk. On the Pokrovsk front, Russian forces now control the eastern part of Tsukurino and the fields between the village and Hyrnik settlement. Further assaults are underway toward the village of Izmailivka.Moscow’s forces have completely taken Ugledar, supported by geo-located videos. Ugledar Officially Falls: What Will Happen to the Fate of 2,000 Ukrainian Soldiers?

The Readovka channel reports that a victory flag was raised in the center of Ugledar around noon on October 1. However, the city still requires a thorough cleanup, as many remnants of Ukrainian troops remain, a situation confirmed by RFAF soldiers. The fate of the besieged 72nd Brigade, one of the last units holding out in Ugledar, is still being clarified.

After receiving orders to retreat, the brigade attempted to escape under heavy enemy fire, suffering significant casualties—possibly in the hundreds. Many Ukrainian soldiers were trapped and unable to evacuate, leaving them vulnerable to capture or death during the Russian sweep. Moscow forces are expected to announce the exact number of casualties soon.

RFAF Launches Attacks on Selidovo and Achieves Success at Tsukurino

According to the Rybar channel, Moscow forces are working to gain control of Donetsk territories along an extensive front line exceeding 80 km, with significant advances reported on both the northern and southeastern flanks of Kurakhove.West of Novotoretske, Russian forces have pushed Ukrainian troops back to the right bank of the Kazennyy Torets River. In the Hrodivka area, they successfully breached AFU defenses and captured two major strongholds, opening a pathway to Moskovske and nearby Myrnohrad.

Further south, in the battles along the Mykolaivka-Sukhyi Yar line, the RFAF advanced west of the Novohrodivska mine, reinforcing their position in the forested areas leading to Lysovka.Reports suggest that the AFU may have lost control of the waste dumps at Novohrodivska mines No. 1 and 2, although this information has not been confirmed by objective control videos.West of Marinovka, an RFAF armored group launched an attack on Ukrainian formations along the M-30 highway at the northern entrance to Selidovo. Additionally, Russian paratroopers landed on the southern outskirts of the city, targeting the hospital area that they had previously been unable to reinforce.

Meanwhile, Moscow forces engaged in combat on the southern outskirts of Tsukurino and around the Basil the Great mine. They successfully drove the enemy from the forested areas along the railway, advancing from the Selidivska mine and launching assaults from the direction of Ukrainsk.

Further south, Russian forces pushed the AFU out of positions between Ostryi and Maksymilianovka, setting the stage for an advance on the northern outskirts of Maksymilianovka. They continue to attack the remaining AFU groups in Ostryi, while UAVs systematically target enemy equipment and infrastructure in the Kurakhove area. The situation west of Nevelskoye, which had been quiet for some time without any reports or footage, has started to clarify. This has led to skepticism regarding earlier media reports of Moscow forces taking control of the area, especially given the repeated claims of “control” over the settlement circulating online.

However, based on new information about RFAF advances in the lowlands near Zhelanne Pershe and Zhelanne Druhe, it appears that the long-anticipated offensive in the fields west of Nevelskoye has indeed commenced, albeit with only sporadic AFU presence.

Ukraine Continues to Target Kursk

The Rybar channel confirmed that Moscow forces launched precise strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure in various regions. In Kursk, clashes are ongoing in the Glushkovo district, with AFU units attacking areas near Vesele. Meanwhile, in the Donetsk direction, Russian assault teams are making progress on the southeastern outskirts of Tsukurino and are engaged in fierce battles east of Selidovo.Further south, Moscow forces have officially taken control of Ugledar. DeepState Reports: Ugledar Has Fallen

The DeepState channel, affiliated with Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Defense Intelligence (GUR), has reported that RFAF forces have fully captured the city of Ugledar in the Donetsk region.According to the report, analysts suggest that opposing forces are publishing images of Russian victory flags raised in various areas of the city.Earlier, Vadim Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk administration appointed by Kiev, confirmed on October 1 that Moscow forces had nearly reached the center of Ugledar, where fighting was still ongoing.

He noted that only 107 residents remain in the city, making it extremely difficult to provide them with humanitarian aid.On September 26, DeepState co-founder Ruslan Mikula stated that the fall of Ugledar—where the Ukrainian army had been holding off the enemy’s advance for over two years—was imminent, possibly just days or weeks away.
