After 1,200 days since launching the special military campaign, the Russian army now controls 89,357 square kilometers, equivalent to 14.8% of Ukraine’s territory and up to 19.28% if including the Crimean peninsula.

The Suriyakmaps channel said that the Russian army is continuing to push forward its attacks along the thousands of kilometers long front line. After 1,200 days since the conflict between Moscow and Kiev broke out, the area controlled by each side is estimated as follows:
In Donetsk, Russia controls 19,450 square kilometers (equivalent to 73.37% of the Donetsk region); in Luhansk, Moscow controls 26,519 square kilometers (99.38% of the Luhansk region).

In addition, the distribution of control over other regions is as follows: Kherson, Russia: 21,452km2 (75.37%) – Ukraine: 7,009km2 (24.63%); Zaporizhia, Russia: 20,384km2 (74.98%) – Ukraine: 6,285km2 (23.12%); Kharkov, Russia: 1,299km2 (4.14%) – Ukraine: 30,033km2 (95.86%); Sumy, Russia: 253km2 (1.06%) – Ukraine: 30,033km2 (98.94%).
